OREANDA-NEWS. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman met with Prime Minister of Poland Beata Szydło in the framework of the 26-th Economic Forum in Krynica Zdrój. The counterparts tackled the prospects of enhancement of cooperation.

During a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Poland Beata Szydło following the meeting on Wednesday, Volodymyr Groysman assured that the partnership between Ukraine and Poland bears strategic character, therefore it is crucial to use existing opportunities to intensify bilateral collaboration.

The Prime Minister stressed that cooperation would continue in economy, energy sectors. According to him, Ukraine and Poland have the potential to cooperate in many areas, particularly in defence, infrastructure and cross-border cooperation.

The heads of government agreed to intensify work within the framework of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, thereby allowing the countries to solve all urgent issues between the countries.

"By joining endeavours Poland and Ukraine will bring about positive results", said Volodymyr Groysman.
