Fish production in Russia exceeded consumption by 20 percent

OREANDA-NEWS Fish production in Russia last year exceeded domestic consumption by 20%, according to Rosstat data, which was studied by RIA Novosti.
Russia also fully provides itself with grain (172.7%), meat (102.2%) and potatoes (100.3%). The egg self-sufficiency rate is approaching 100% - 98.6%.
By the end of 2025, the country's self-sufficiency in vegetables and food melons amounted to 86.6%, in milk - 85.3%, and in fruits and berries - 48.6%.
The data does not take into account information on the Donetsk People's Republic, Lugansk People's Republic, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
