OREANDA-NEWS  In Moscow, heating will be turned on in all buildings within a few days, said Deputy Mayor of the city Peter Biryukov.

"Due to a decrease in the average daily outdoor temperature, on behalf of the Mayor of Moscow, the heat supply system began to switch to winter operation. Social institutions, including schools, kindergartens, hospitals and polyclinics, will be the first to receive heat. In parallel, we will start turning on heating in residential buildings and office buildings, then in commercial and industrial enterprises," he said.

The heating will be started in stages, and it will be fully turned on in a few days.

From May to September, hydraulic and temperature tests of heating networks were carried out in the city, which helped to identify unreliable areas in advance and repair them, Biryukov noted.

In the Moscow region, heating began to be connected from social institutions on September 23, the Ministry of Energy of the region reported. Trial furnaces in the Moscow region have been carried out since September 15.
