OREANDA-NEWS German police raided the Berlin apartment of the family of Sergei Feoktistov, head of the representative office of the Rossiya Segodnya media group in Germany, and took away the passports of his wife and young daughter. The details were revealed by the journalist himself.
Last Friday, Feoktistov was not allowed off the flight at Berlin airport, although the German authorities ordered him to leave the country by August 19.
According to the journalist, law enforcement officers came to the apartment where his wife and seven-year-old daughter live and seized their passports. This was explained by the fact that family members could allegedly hide and fail to comply with orders to leave Germany. At the same time, Feoktistov noted that in similar cases with other Russian journalists, passports were not seized.
