OREANDA-NEWS Nine people, including six minors, fell ill with norovirus infection after visiting a children's entertainment complex in Kaliningrad, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office told RIA Novosti.
"According to the latest information, after visiting a children's entertainment center in Kaliningrad, nine people, including six minors, fell ill with norovirus infection," the press service said.
On Wednesday, the regional prosecutor's office reported that the agency was conducting an inspection at the children's entertainment complex on Karamzin Street in Kaliningrad after visitors fell ill. The issue of suspending the organization's activities is being considered.
Rospotrebnadzor specialists conducted their inspection and revealed violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements, including during catering in the children's complex.
According to the regional Investigative Committee, a pre-investigation check has been organized on the fact of violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules.
"The investigation is carrying out an exhaustive set of investigative actions aimed at establishing in detail all the circumstances of the incident, the causes and conditions that contributed to them. A procedural decision will be made based on the results of the audit," the regional Investigative Committee said in a statement.
