OREANDA-NEWS The shortage of personnel in the field of information technology (IT) is experienced by more than half of Russian employers. The results of the research of the consulting company "Yakov and Partners" and HeadHunter are cited by RIA Novosti.

According to the survey, 61 percent of companies face difficulties in finding candidates with IT skills. Programming and web programming (19 percent), digital marketing (16 percent) and application development (14 percent) were named the most deficient specialties.

More than half of the respondents said that the search period for employees has increased by the end of 2022, while only six percent of employers announced its reduction. The companies noted that now it takes an average of three months to close the main volume of vacancies, and not two, as before. Attractive financial compensation helps to speed up the process and interest the right candidate. Three-quarters of employers with good wages reported finding employees faster than the industry average.
