OREANDA-NEWS  The reverse business mission of the largest Indian importers of edible oils, organized by the representative office of the Russian Export Center (VEB Group) in India, took place from August 31 to September 7 in Russia. The delegation included representatives of the 14 largest importers of fat and oil products, as well as the leadership of the Association of Processors of Edible Oils of India (Solvent Extractor's Association of India — SEA), the center reports.

"The mission program included visits to five regions of Russia. The Indian partners began exploring domestic production in Moscow, and then visited Voronezh, Belgorod, St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad," the report says.

In the Voronezh Region, the delegation met with EFKO CEO Evgeny Lyashenko. The company is the largest supplier of sunflower oil. Indian businessmen visited the fields, the oil extraction plant and the research center of the company, having seen the entire production process "from the field to the laboratory".
