OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, responding to a question about the West's plans to use the Kiev regime against Belarus, said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, in his opinion, felt complete impunity and was trying to demonstrate his own importance. His words are quoted by TASS.

"It seems to me that he has now felt his complete impunity and wants to use this moment, which has developed so opportunistically, to show how cool he is," Lavrov said.

The Russian Foreign Minister also noted that Zelensky constantly accuses Belarus of allegedly preparing an attack on Ukraine, thereby inciting the West. At the same time, according to Lavrov, the Ukrainian leader often expresses contradictory assessments and goals.

Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky said in his Telegram channel that he had discussed with his American counterpart Donald Trump a trilateral meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
