OREANDA-NEWS Among the foreigners who tried to enter Russia, 30 thousand visitors with forged documents, entry restrictions or wanted persons were identified, said Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, commenting on the experiment to test new rules and conditions for entry and exit of foreigners.

At a meeting of the interdepartmental commission of the Russian Security Council, Medvedev proposed discussing the progress of the experiment, which is being conducted at Moscow airports and in the Orenburg region. According to the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, since the beginning of the experiment, more than 4 million biometric data have been collected and verified in real time.

"30,000 visitors have been identified who tried to enter Russia using forged documents, had entry restrictions, or were wanted," Medvedev said.
