OREANDA-NEWS Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin asked the government to closely monitor the needs of domestic agricultural producers and provide them with timely financing.

The issue of the preliminary results of the harvest of agricultural crops in 2025 was discussed on Thursday at a meeting of the Government of the Russian Federation. The report was presented by the head of the Ministry of Agriculture Oksana Lut.

"I ask you to pay special attention to the financing of our agricultural producers. It is necessary to closely monitor the needs, provide everything necessary, and allocate funds to the Ministry of Agriculture at the beginning of the fiscal year. It is important that all the resources provided in the federal budget are brought to the recipients in a timely manner and farmers can confidently prepare for the next season, for spring field work," Mishustin addressed the members of the Cabinet of Ministers after hearing the report.
