OREANDA-NEWS  More than half (53 percent) of Russian employers said that their company has useless employees. These are the results of a survey of the job search service and employees.

14 percent of respondents complained that they have a lot of such workers, and 39 percent, on the contrary, noted their small number. At the same time, 32 percent of companies admitted that they do nothing with useless employees.

To improve the efficiency of such workers, 35 percent of companies conduct preventive conversations, and 26 percent of respondents said that they resort to at least dismissal. 17 employers are ready to draw up an individual development plan for such specialists. 16 percent of companies are trying to find the cause of employee dissatisfaction and solve his problem, another 13 percent are cutting wages or bonuses, and 11 percent are demoting a useless employee.

The main reason why employers do not dismiss such employees was the difficulty of proving their uselessness, 35 percent of respondents complained about this. Another 33 percent noted that such a specialist has been working in the company for too long, and a quarter (24 percent) of respondents said that a useless employee is on good terms with management.
