OREANDA-NEWS Nine unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were shot down on approach to Moscow on the night of Friday, September 12. This was announced on Telegram by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

The first message about the drone attack on the city was posted by the mayor at 1:27 a.m., the last at 2:42 a.m.

According to Sobyanin, emergency services personnel were working at the site of the drone wreckage. Nothing was reported about possible damage or casualties.

Prior to that, Sobyanin reported on the drone attack on Moscow on August 25. Two drones were destroyed.
