OREANDA-NEWS. June 05, 2009. The Law defines legal principles, organization and procedure of holding of the national referendum.

Pursuant to the legislative act, a national referendum is a means of adopting decisions concerning issues of the national importance by the citizens of Ukraine by means of secret vote. Any issues, unless restricted by the Constitution of Ukraine, can become a subject matter of the national referendum. 

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No.1374.
