OREANDA-NEWS. The ongoing protest actions in the Khabarovsk Krai of Russia serve as a “breeding ground” for all sorts of “quasi-oppositionists” and “brawlers” who specially arrived there. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, a press secretary of the President of Russia.

So he commented on the words of the Acting Governor of the Khabarovsk Krai, Mikhail Degtyarev, who consider that foreign citizens who flew to the region to destabilize the situation were involved in organizing the protests.

“In general, I wouldn’t say that it was organized from abroad. We didn’t talk about it. But the fact is that in due course, they [Foreigners. – Es.] flew there – yes, they did it,” Peskov said.

Protest rallies began on July 11. Their participants demand, in particular, a fair trial of Sergey Furgal, the governor recently dismissed by the Russian president Vladimir Putin. Furgal is accused of organizing the murders of businessmen.
