OREANDA-NEWS  The Far East and the Arctic are showing good dynamics of development, and they are ahead of the national pace in a number of parameters, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Today, the Far East and the Arctic are showing high dynamics of good positive changes. According to a number of key parameters, their development rates exceed the national ones. And I must say that this is probably our common main achievement," Putin said during a meeting on the development of the Far Eastern Federal District.

The Eastern Economic Forum is taking place from 1 to 4 September in Vladivostok. RIA Novosti is the general information partner of the WEF.
