OREANDA-NEWS  Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law providing for the publication of declarations of senators and deputies without personal data. The document is published on the official portal of legal information.

The Federation Council approved the bill on February 1. The document assumes that only generalized statistical information on the provision of information on the income of parliamentarians will be published. A member of the Constitutional Committee of the SF, Alexander Bashkin, stated that it was a temporary measure, since under the conditions of sanctions it was necessary that the politicians' data "did not fall to the enemy."

Pavel Krasheninnikov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on State Construction and Legislation, explained at the end of January that from March 1, only information about the number of declarations submitted and whether violations were detected in them will be publicly available. Information about the income and real estate of Russian parliamentarians and their family members will no longer be published.

In February, the Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko also proposed suspending the operation of Law 44-FZ on public procurement for the duration of a special military operation. According to her, companies and regional authorities should be given the opportunity to develop funds faster without additional checks by law enforcement.
