OREANDA-NEWS At the talks of the political advisers of the leaders of the "Normandy Four" (Russia, Ukraine, Germany, France) held in Berlin on February 11, all participants expressed interest in holding the Quartet summit, but were unable to agree on a joint document. This was stated during the briefing by the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Ermak.

"All sides of the Normandy format have confirmed that they are interested in continuing negotiations," he stressed.

Ermak also added that a new meeting at the level of political advisers may take place in the near future, the parties have such a mutual attitude, but the head of the office of the Ukrainian leader did not name specific dates.

"We will definitely meet with political advisers, I think very soon, we have not yet decided where, but we will talk," the representative of Kiev said.

According to Yermak, the Normandy format political advisers confirmed the need to implement the Minsk agreements on Donbass, and also agreed on the need to unblock the work of the Trilateral Contact Group.

Earlier, Deputy head of the presidential administration of Russia Dmitry Kozak said that Ukraine's rhetoric against Donbass is militaristic, but Moscow hopes that Kiev will have the prudence not to unleash a war against its own citizens.
