OREANDA-NEWS On May 9, more than 20 units of rare tanks and self-propelled guns of the Uralvagonzavod concern will be held at Victory parades in Nizhny Tagil, Chelyabinsk and St. Petersburg

Employees of the Uralvagonzavod concern enterprises have been providing high functionality of rare military equipment for many years: traditionally, T-Z4 tanks and self-propelled artillery installations take part in Victory parades in the regions of the concern's presence. May 9, 2023 will be no exception.

"The maintenance of more than 20 units of rare equipment is not only the social responsibility of Uralvagonzavod JSC, but also the concern's contribution to the formation of military-patriotic education," Igor Meshkov, Director for Special Assignments, is sure.

In Nizhny Tagil, the Uralvagonzavod T-34-85 tank will take part in the city Victory Parade. The T-34-85 tank rolled off the assembly line of the Ural Tank Factory No. 183 (now Uralvagonzavod) in 1945. He did not have time to take part in the fighting, but remained at the enterprise in memory of the labor feat of factory workers during the Great Patriotic War and stands in the museum of armored vehicles UVZ.
