OREANDA-NEWS Pet owners risk being fined for loud noises and unpleasant odors. The Russians were warned about this by lawyers interviewed by RIA Novosti.
According to the law, when keeping pets in an apartment building, owners are required to respect the rights and interests of neighbors. In particular, it is necessary to clean up after pets during a walk, monitor the level of noise and odors that may interfere with other residents.
A fine of 500 rubles or more is imposed for violating acceptable noise levels in residential buildings. The time when it is forbidden to make noise differs depending on the region. However, if the dog barks loudly during the day, provisions on violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the operation of residential premises apply. In this case, a fine is also imposed, in Moscow its amount is up to a thousand rubles. For an unpleasant smell from an apartment, you can also receive a fine of up to 3 thousand rubles.
Earlier, lawyer Elena Brownm said that Russians are allowed to keep chickens, pigs or goats in their apartment, but if the animals start interfering with neighbors, they will have to pay a fine.
