OREANDA-NEWS School holidays in Sevastopol have been extended until November 9 due to power supply restrictions, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said.
"Due to the ongoing energy restrictions in the region and taking into account the current situation, the city's operational headquarters decided to extend the school holidays: November 5 and 6 were declared non-medical days. Thus, students will return to classes on Monday, November 9," Razvozhaev said in a message on the channel on the Maks platform.
The governor added that additional education institutions will also not be open these days.
Time flows differently here. Enjoy the sea, gastronomy and every moment.
"Kindergartens will continue to operate normally. We understand how important it is for parents to be able to go to work safely, so we will do everything necessary to ensure that children stay in preschool institutions," the message says.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Energy reported that they were monitoring the situation with energy supply in Crimea and Sevastopol. To eliminate the effects of the impact as soon as possible and gradually restore power supply, there are schedules for temporary power outages. And socially significant facilities are connected to backup power sources.
On the night of November 4, as a result of external influences, the electricity supply to consumers in Crimea and Sevastopol was cut off. Restrictions on the supply of electricity were introduced in Crimea, restoration work is underway, said Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of Crimea.
