OREANDA-NEWS  The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has supplied the Russian Ministry of Defense with a batch of new Su-35S fighter jets, Rostec announced on Monday.

"The United Aircraft Corporation (part of Rostec State Corporation) has handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense another batch of new Su-35S multi-role fighters," the statement said.

It is noted that these 4++ generation aircraft have passed a full cycle of factory tests, were tested in various operating modes and flew to their home airfield.
According to Rostec, the pilots of the Russian Aerospace Forces note the excellent flight qualities of the fighters. Their characteristics fully meet the requirements that are necessary to perform combat cover missions and gain air supremacy.

"When accepting the new machines, the crews of the Aerospace Forces expressed gratitude to the designers and labor collectives who create aviation equipment," the state corporation noted.
According to Vadim Badekha, General Director of the UAC, quoted by the press service, the corporation is rhythmically supplying combat aircraft according to the current year's program.

"In parallel, work is underway to increase capacity and put into operation new production infrastructure facilities to implement further plans to ensure the country's defense capability. New batches of Su-35S, Su-34 and Su-57 aircraft are in production," Badeha said.
