OREANDA-NEWS  There will be no changes in the unified state exam this year, according to the page of the Ministry of Education of Russia on the VKontakte social network with reference to the director of the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements Oksana Reshetnikova.

"There will be no changes in the Unified State Exam-2023. Oksana Reshetnikova, director of the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements, told about this on the air of the weekly online program "Educational Environment"," the message says. Also, speaking about the initiatives to cancel the Unified State Exam, Reshetnikova noted that in case of cancellation of the exam and a return to the Soviet system of admission to universities, the number of exams that graduates will have to take will increase, and it will be almost impossible to try to enter different universities. "There will be no single transparent and understandable rules of the game that apply throughout the country. There will be no single, understandable information for everyone, no single specifications and demos of exam materials, no identical test conditions, no coordinated approach to the evaluation of the applicant's work by the expert community - nothing. Thus, everything that we have accumulated over these 22 years will simply be lost," Reshetnikova said, her words are quoted in the message.

The Ministry of Education of Russia and Rosobrnadzor in December 2022 approved the schedule of the Unified State Exam-2023, the main period will be held from May 26 to June 20 and will begin with literature, geography and chemistry. The reserve deadlines for the unified state exam will begin on April 12 and last until September 19. The early period for graduates of previous years began on March 20 and will end on July 1. The unified state examination in all academic subjects will begin at 10.00 local time.
