OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov has proposed to the Chinese State Control Committee to agree on the exchange of "the best" practices in the fight against corruption, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

"In our work, we study the best practices of foreign partners. For example, I am aware of China's consistent systemic results in the fight against corruption, especially in the return of assets of corrupt officials from abroad… I propose to consider the issue of developing a written agreement between our departments, which will allow us to exchange experience and the best practices in the fight and counteraction of corruption. I am sure it will be useful for both sides. We are ready for interaction and cooperation in any format," Krasnov said in Beijing at a meeting with the Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission of the Communist Party of China for Discipline Inspection, Deputy head of the State Control Committee of the People's Republic of China Fu Kui.

"I think that the anti-corruption line of Russia and China is an important component of our high-level political interaction. The Chinese side is ready to make joint efforts with you to implement important agreements of our leaders, deepen cooperation and exchange views in the field of anti-corruption," Fu Kui said.
Krasnov explained that, according to the claims of prosecutors, not only the property of officials, but also cryptocurrency can be applied to the state income when there is no evidence of their legal origin in relation to such assets.
