The Russian Foreign Ministry reacted to the death of military commander Zuev

OREANDA-NEWS The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) deliberately targeted military officers Ivan Zuev and Yuri Voitkevich. This was stated by Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik, as quoted by RIA Novosti.
"The murder of RIA Novosti correspondent Ivan Zuev by the Ukrainian Nazis and the attack on the life and health of his colleague, Yuri Voitkevich, are war crimes committed intentionally by the Ukrainian Nazis, who are in fear of being exposed," he said.
The diplomat stressed that the blow was inflicted on journalists who risked their lives to find the truth about the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. He also called the incident a cynical violation of international humanitarian law and stressed that the Ukrainian military could purposefully hunt military personnel.
RIA Novosti military correspondent Ivan Zuev died in the Zaporizhia region on October 16. He was attacked by a Ukrainian drone while performing a journalistic assignment.
