OREANDA-NEWS In the port of Primorsk, Leningrad region, a ship caught fire due to an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced by the governor of the Russian region, Alexander Drozdenko, in the Telegram channel.

"A fire on one of the vessels is being eliminated in the port of Primorsk. The fire extinguishing system has been activated," Drozdenko said.

Subsequently, the governor clarified that the open gorenje in the port of Primorsk had already been eliminated. According to him, there is no threat of flooding and oil spill.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a massive drone attack on the Leningrad Region on the night of Friday, September 12. The Air Defense Forces shot down more than 30 aircraft over the region. The wreckage of drones fell in Vsevolozhsk, Tosno, the villages of Pokrovskoye and Uzmino.
