OREANDA-NEWS  Yellow precipitation fell in two Russian regions. Their appearance was explained by Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, in his Telegram channel.

An unusual phenomenon was noticed in Belgorod and Crimea. At first, the sky turned yellow, and after the rain, there was a plaque on cars and objects.

Tishkovets said that the culprits of the incident were African dust and sand that reached Russia. He added that Greek meteorologists gave the name "Red Minerva" to a powerful sandstorm that came from the Sahara and covered the Balkans. "The concentration of hydrometeors of dust and sand storms from the Sahara is negligible," the forecaster commented on the situation with unusual precipitation in Russia. The expert also warned that African dust could be transferred to the north-west of the country.

Earlier in April, it became known that the poisonous green stream scared the residents of Penza.
