Trump appreciates the chance to make a deal with China

OREANDA-NEWS US President Donald Trump has said he hopes to conclude a deal with China. The head of the White House was quoted by TASS.
According to him, this may happen during the upcoming meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the APEC summit in South Korea. He noted that Washington has already been able to achieve profitable trade deals with the European Union and Japan. A similar result was achieved with South Korea.
"And I expect that we will probably work out a very fair deal with Chinese President Xi," Trump said.
Before that, it became known that in addition to rare earth metals, China has other levers of pressure on the United States. In particular, China is the only supplier of key chemicals for pharmaceuticals, including antibiotics and drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, cancer and allergies. We are talking about about 700 medicines used in the United States that contain ingredients that are produced only in China.
