For the third year in a row, Sberbank was recognized as the most valuable brand. His brand was estimated by analysts at 842.1 billion rubles. - This is 25.6% more than a year earlier.

Despite the fact that the country's most expensive brand is a financial institution, in general, the oil and gas industry dominates the ranking of the 50 most valuable brands in Russia. Together, nine oil and gas brands that fell into this rating cost almost 1.7 trillion rubles, and in the top ten most expensive brands feature five of the largest oil and gas companies in the country.

The top 10 most expensive brands in Russia in 2019 according to the media version looks like this:

  2. Gazprom, 552.2 billion rubles, (+ 72.1%)
  3. LUKOIL, 397.2 billion rubles, (+ 41.3%)
  4. Rosneft, 246.9 billion rubles. (+ 21.1%)
  5. Russian Railways, 185.8 billion rubles. (+ 16.9%)
  6. "Magnet", 170.3 billion rubles. (+ 17.4%)
  7. VTB, 144.8 billion rubles. (+ 23.3%)
  8. Tatneft: 132.4 billion rubles. (+ 36.2%)
  9. MTS, 121.5 billion rubles. (+ 6.1%)
  10. NOVATEK, 119.9 billion rubles. (+59.1)
The fastest growing brand in Russia is the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Combine (NLMK). According to the publisher, value increased by 82% over the year, and in 2019 the enterprise itself rose by 10 lines - from 41 to 31 positions. Despite the plight of the aviation industry, the Aeroflot brand is growing in price year after year. Now the company is located on the 12th position in the rating. In addition, for the first time, the Aeroflot’s subsidiary, Rossiya Airlines (48th position) entered the top 50 most valuable brands. For the first time, Stroygazmontazh (30th place), Alrosa (39th place) and Pochta Rossii (46th place) also entered the Brand Finance rating in 2019.
