OREANDA-NEWS In the Marvel's movie "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness," the supervillain Nightmare may appear. In comics, the demon controls the measurement of dreams.

Earlier, the director of the sequel of Doctor Strange, Scott Derrickson, said the film would contain elements of horror. Sources in Marvel claim that it is Nightmare that will cause these elements to appear.

The demon Nightmare first appeared in comics in 1963. A Nightmare steals astral beings of people during sleep. Doctor Strange will try to stop the demon, and the Scarlet Witch will help him in this.

Matt Smith can play the role of a demon Nightmare. Chiwetel Ejiofor will play Mordo again, but will be a minor villain.

The Marvel studio has not yet officially confirmed this information, but has not disproved information about the appearance of the Nightmare demon in the sequel of Doctor Strange. Scott Derrickson’s world premiere of "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness" is scheduled for May 5, 2021. The main roles in the film will be played by Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen and Benedict Wong.
