OREANDA-NEWS  Omid Scobie, one of the authors of Finding Freedom, which tells the story of the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has revealed why Meghan Markle may refuse a summer trip to the UK at the invitation of Queen Elizabeth II.

Scobie suggests that Meghan Markle's refusal is most likely related to travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to these restrictions, Meghan would hardly be able to take a small child with her, and she does not want to go without him. Omid Scobie clarifies that Meghan did not want to offend the royal family with her refusal at all.

Scobie suggests that Meghan Markle will find another way to congratulate the Queen. The Duchess has already become famous for her special gifts: for example, during the first meeting with Kate Middleton, she presented that notebook with a leather cover.

Earlier, the "Daily Mail" agency reported information that Meghan Markle will not accompany her husband during the trip, but will remain in the United States. The message explains that such an act is based on personal and practical reasons for the Duchess.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were invited to the Banner Carrying out ceremony - a military parade in honor of the Queen's birthday on June 12.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have ceased their duties as members of the British royal family on April 1, 2020. They had to give up royal titles, government funding, and the Sussex Royal brand to be eligible to move to the United States, work and do business.
