OREANDA-NEWS  The Italian actor and singer Gino Renni has passed away at the age of 78 due to complications caused by coronavirus infection. This was reported on the website of the TN Argentinean television channel.

The publication notes that the actor was hospitalized with coronavirus on his birthday, June 7. A few days earlier, he had been vaccinated with the second component of the vaccine.

Natalia Oreiro also said goodbye to her colleague on the "Muneca Brava" series. In Instagram Stories, she posted a photo of Gino Renni with the words: "Good journey, dear Gino".

Renni was born in the Italian region of Calabria in 1943 under the name Luigi Melieni Mollo. At the age of three, he and his parents moved to Buenos Aires.
