OREANDA-NEWS. Hollywood star actor Keanu Reeves has revealed that some action scenes that were already filmed have been removed from The Matrix: Resurrection. He admitted this in an interview with Izvestia on Thursday, December 16.

The lead actor in the new instalment of the sci-fi action film noted that he worked with the same trainer on the set as he did 20 years ago for the trilogy.

"This gentleman's name is Tiger Cheng Hoo, you may have heard of him. Oddly enough - you won't see that in the film - this time we paid a lot more attention in training to kicking. But I didn't do them very well. So they're not in the movie, they've been cut out,"- explained Reeves.

According to him, training took place in the usual format. The actors worked out in the dojo, did warm-up and stretching, practiced wushu and emphasised leg kicks.

"And then we moved on to an individual training programme for each person and worked out the choreography of the fights,"- he said.

"The Matrix: Resurrection" is a sci-fi action film directed by Lana Wachowski that links directly to the classic trilogy and brings well known characters back to the screens. Including Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, and Trinity, played by Cary-Anne Moss.

The film also stars Yahya Abdul-Matin II, Priyanka Chopra, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Neil Patrick Harris.
