OREANDA-NEWS Valery Meladze's concert in Kyrgyzstan was canceled due to the country's warm relations with Russia, which the singer left after the start of a special military operation. Producer Pavel Rudchenko told about this in an interview with the portal "Paragraph".
According to the producer, the country's authorities decided to exclude any political slogans that might arise, given Meladze's views.
"Countries do not want political tensions with Russia. They don't want to deal with those who can shout a political slogan or support this slogan from the stage," Rudchenko said.
Pavel also noted that Meladze may be included in the list of artists who cannot perform in the Eastern world. The reason for this likely outcome was that Valery was against holding his own, and also allowed himself to openly support unfriendly political forces.
Earlier it became known that Meladze had to send letters of guarantee to the authorities of Central Asian countries in order to hold a show as part of his tour.
