OREANDA-NEWS  American director Woody Allen will take part in the program of the Moscow International Film Week, which will be held on August 24-25 at the Moskino Film Factory, the press service of the project reported.

"This year's event will bring together more than 80 foreign participants from more than 20 countries, including China, India, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Brazil, Mexico, the United States, South Korea, Iran and others. Among the foreign guests is Woody Allen, a legend of world cinema, a four—time Oscar winner, an iconic director, screenwriter and actor, the author of more than 50 films, including Midnight in Paris, Annie Hall, Manhattan.

Serbian director Emir Kusturica and American actor Mark Dacascos will also participate in the film week.

The organizers noted that the Moskino Film Factory will host panel discussions, project presentations, round tables and other events aimed at strengthening and expanding international relations in the field of cinematography. In total, over 150 representatives of Russian and foreign companies will take part in the business program. The forum program consists of special tracks "Understand", "Feel", "Create" and "Promote".

Special attention will be paid to issues of international cooperation, the press service of the cinema week emphasized. In the session "With the world on film: how co-production works", participants will discuss practical mechanisms for co-production, and at the meeting "Foreigners in Moscow: who shoots in the capital, why and how" - the experience of foreign teams working in the Russian capital.
