OREANDA-NEWS  The number of registered unemployed in Russia decreased by 25 thousand in two weeks – to 621.4 thousand, said Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova. Golikova's office reported that she held a regular meeting of the interdepartmental working group to respond to the situation on the labor market.

"We continue to closely monitor the current situation in the labor market. According to operational monitoring data, the number of registered unemployed decreased by 25 thousand and amounted to 621.4 thousand people. The level of registered unemployment has decreased to 0.8%," said the Deputy Prime Minister, whose words were quoted in the office.

According to the data, for the period from September 19 to October 3, the number of idle workers decreased by 4.6 thousand to 89.8 thousand people, and the number of citizens working part–time or working week decreased by 4.2 thousand to 114.9 thousand people. In addition, more than 2.4 million vacancies are available to applicants on the portal "Work in Russia". The number of vacancies exceeds the number of registered unemployed citizens by almost four times, Golikova's office clarified.
