OREANDA-NEWS. Roselektronika Holding Rostec and Titan Power Solution entered into an agreement on cooperation in the creation and production of supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries for fuel and energy sector and transport, as well as joint participation in commercial projects in high-tech industries, the state corporation said in a statement. The parties are also considering the possibility of creating a joint venture, Rostec notes.

“The partnership is aimed at developing modern energy storage technologies for the transport industry and the fuel and energy complex. The main goal of the project is the creation and launch of modern supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries”, the state corporation reports. Rostec expects that the main customers of the products will be manufacturers of various modes of transport and companies of the fuel and energy complex. Supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries have a wide range of applications: electric cars, solar and wind power stations, backup power systems.

Titan Power Solution is a Skolkovo resident, specializing in the design, development, production and practical application of solutions and systems created on the basis of supercapacitors in various industries, including the automotive industry, energy, and telecommunications.
