OREANDA-NEWS  During the preparation of Russian cosmonauts on the International Space Station for a spacewalk, an abnormal operation of pumps in the cooling system of one of the spacesuits was detected, a decision was made to cancel the work, Roscosmos reported.

"When preparing the spacesuits for the exit, abnormal operation of pumps in the cooling system of one of the spacesuits was detected. It was decided to stop work on the exit. The reasons are being analyzed," the press service reported.

"The date of the next release will be determined after analyzing the reasons for the cancellation of today's release," the state corporation said.

As reported, cosmonauts Sergei Prokopyev and Dmitry Petelin were scheduled to go into outer space from the ISS on Friday to carry out work during which it was planned to use the European ERA manipulator for the first time.
