OREANDA-NEWS. Megafon paid-off bonds of second series on 1,5 bln rub, the company said to AK&M.

The issue includes 1,5 mil securities with 1 thd rub nominal. Bonds with three year maturity were launched on MICEX. Six semi-year coupon payments were provided. Coupon rate - 9,28% per annum. Arranger of the issuing was Renaissance Capital. Bail granter was MegaFon finance, a 100% subsidiary enterprise of Megafon.

MegaFon ranks third among Russian cellular operators. Telecominvest (St. Petersburg) and the IPOC Fund, that are owned by Dannish lawyer Jeffrey Galmond, hold 31,3% and 8% respectively in MegaFon. The TeliaSonera Swedish and Finnish telecommunication company owns 35,6% shares; TsT-Mobile OJSC controlled by Alfa-Group holds 25,1%.
