OREANDA-NEWS. August 28, 2012. According to the official data provided by Russian Federal Civil Aviation Agency Rosaviatsia, UTair Aviation has ranked among the leading airlines in the timely dispatch of flights. In July the airline performed 8,618 scheduled and charter flights, of which only 3.86% were performed with a delay of more than 15 minutes, a performance that ranks better than the average figures for European airlines.

A high level of punctuality was also shown by UTair-Express, a UTair subsidiary. Only 3.06% of 1,045 flights were delayed.

These performance results were achieved thanks to clear operational control and daily flight management at the airline’s mission control center as well as through the implementation of best practice management on the basis of modern technologies for flight planning, fleet deployment, significant investment in fleet modernization and aircraft maintenance. UTair has repeatedly been recognized for its flight regularity by Rosaviatsia and major Russian airports.

UTair Aviation ranks among the top three Russian airlines. In 2011 UTair aircraft transported 6,750,425 passengers. In January-June 2012 UTair Group serviced 40.9% more passengers than for the same period of 2011. In 2012 the airline expects increased transportation volumes to 10 million passengers.
