OREANDA-NEWS.  March 14, 2013. According to ANRCETI, the growth was determined by increase in a number of subscribers and traffic in mobile networks. All three providers of mobile communications of Moldova signalled increase in their sales returns.

In particular, incomes grew 42.8% to 184.9 mln. leis at Moldtelecom, 3.4% to 954.4 mln. leis at Moldcell and 1.4% to 2 bln. 593.6 mln. leis at Orange Moldova. At the same time, in 2012 the average revenue per user (ARPU) decreased 8.5% to 79.2 leis as compared with 2011. ARPU equalled 99.7 leis at Orange Moldova, 53.5 leis at Moldcell and 59.8 leis at Moldtelecom. The decline of the indicator was explained by lower tariffs for retail services rendered to final users and lower tariffs for wholesale call termination service in mobile networks.

The gradual decrease in wholesale tariffs is one of anticipatory special duties imposed by ANRECETI of the providers. IN 2012 sales volume market shares of the providers changed very slightly.

The market share of Orange Moldova declined 1.4 p.p. to 69.48%; the share of Modtelecom grew by 1.4 p.p. to 4.95%, the share of Moldcell remained nearly unchanged at 25.57%. Total voice traffic in networks of mobile communication increased 7% and exceeded 5.4 bln. minutes as compared with 2011.

Monthly voice traffic (MoU) decreased 8.6 % to 121 minutes. This dynamics was determined by a decline of MoU in networks of Moldcell and Moldtelecom by 36 % and 6.3% respectively and its slight increase by 0.4% approximately in Orange Moldova.
