OREANDA-NEWS Elon Musk said that those who provide humanitarian aid in Gaza and international organizations working there can access the Internet through his space company Starlink. The founder of Starlink, businessman Elon Musk, wrote about this in his social network X.

The day before, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wrote on a social network that the shutdown of communications in Gaza was "unacceptable." She noted that journalists, doctors, humanitarian services and civilians were left without communication.

"Starlink will keep in touch with internationally recognized aid organizations in the Gaza Strip," Elon Musk wrote in response on October 28.

The Minister of Communications of the Palestinian National Authority said on the Al-Hadath TV channel that the administration is indeed negotiating with Starlink to restore communications in Gaza. He claims that the company has given a positive response.

The Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology of Palestine, Ishaq Sidr, told WAFA on October 28 that communication and Internet failures in the Gaza Strip were caused by Israeli shelling of two international communication points. According to him, the IDF destroyed the last two active communication points, which led to the separation of Gaza from the entire digital world.
