OREANDA-NEWS An awarding ceremony for the best oil field service companies ranked according to an annual survey among service consumers across the Russian oil and gas industry took place yesterday in Moscow as part of the 12th Oil and Gas Field Services (Neftegazservis) 2017 conference.

The survey had been conducted in 12 nominations: Field Geophysics, Seismic Survey and VSP [Vertical Seismic Profiling]; WL & WI [Well Logging and Well Intervention]; Production and Exploration Drilling; Telemetering; HDD [Horizontal Directional Drilling]; Sidetracking; Drill Bit Services; WS & WO [Well Servicing and Workover], RIW [Repair and Insulation Work] and Fishing Work; Drilling Mud Services, Well Cementing; Coiled Tubing; Hydrofracturing; ECP [Electric Centrifugal Pump] Maintenance.

Gazprom Georesource was placed third in the Field Geophysics, Seismic Survey and VSP nomination among 26 contending companies.

The annual Oil and Gas Field Services in Russia (Neftegazservis) conference is a traditional forum for the networking of top managers of drilling and geophysical contractors, well servicing providers and their customers from oil and gas companies. The conference is also attended by Russian manufacturers of drilling and geophysical equipment.
