OREANDA-NEWS  Supplies via the Druzhba oil pipeline to Slovakia, which were stopped after the attack by Ukraine, have resumed, the Ministry of Economy of the republic reported.

"Slovakia is receiving oil again via the Druzhba oil pipeline," the ministry said in a statement on its official website on Wednesday.

With reference to the operating company, the agency reported that oil supplies through Druzhba have been restored and are at a standard level.

On Monday, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto said that oil supplies to Hungary had been suspended indefinitely due to the attack on Druzhba by Ukraine. This pipeline supplied Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia.

The Slovak pipeline operator Transpetrol, in turn, confirmed that the supply of oil via the Druzhba oil pipeline to Slovakia had been suspended, saying that the reason for this was outside the republic. Slovakia's Economy Minister Denisa Sakova said that residents of the republic are not threatened by any risks in the field of energy security, and supplies via the Druzhba oil pipeline will be restored in the coming days.
