OREANDA-NEWS  Kazakh operator KazTransOil will supply 300 thousand tons of oil to Germany in the first quarter of this year through the oil pipeline systems of Transneft. The permit was issued by the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the press service of KazTransOil said.

The company explained that the delivery of 300 thousand tons of oil is in the schedule of oil transit of the CIS member states through the territory of Russia.

In December 2022, it was reported that Kazakhstan plans to supply 1.2 million tons of raw materials to Germany in 2023. In early January, Kazakhstan's Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov said that Russia supported the transit of Kazakh oil to Germany via the Druzhba oil pipeline.

He noted that Kazakhstan does not expect any complications on this issue. The minister added that Astana "has never had any big problems with Moscow in terms of pumping."
