The executive director of Nord Stream 2 AG will leave the post

OREANDA-NEWS Matthias Warnig, Executive Director of Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline operator Nord Stream 2 AG, will leave his post.
"Matthias Warnig will end his activities as Executive director of Nord Stream 2 AG and will retire at the end of March 2023," the company said.
In the future, Nord Stream 2 AG will be managed by a committee under the leadership of the administrator of Transliq AG. The company noted Warnig's significant contribution to the creation of a large cross-border energy supply infrastructure. In February, the British Foreign Ministry reported that London had imposed sanctions against Varnig. The US Treasury Department at the beginning of last year also imposed restrictive measures against Nord Stream 2 AG and its executive director.
