OREANDA-NEWS It would be most convenient for the European Union to receive gas from Russia to fill its storage facilities, Richard Kwasniewski, executive director of the Slovak Gas and Oil Union (SPNZ), told RIA Novosti.

"From the point of view of increasing supplies to Europe, there is now only one fully flexible source - Russian gas," Kwasniewski said.

While the European Commission rules out the possibility of returning to energy resources from Russia, "many representatives of the business environment, on the contrary, say that this European decision should be at least temporarily reviewed," said the head of the union.
