OREANDA-NEWS  It is difficult for Hungary and Slovakia to abandon Russian oil, US President Donald Trump said during a meeting with reporters at the White House.

"You know, the one who really can't do this [to abandon purchases of Russian oil] is Hungary," he said.

Trump noted that this country has no access to the sea, which complicates the purchase of oil from alternative suppliers.

In addition, the head of the White House added that Slovakia is in the same situation.

The day before, at a meeting with Erdogan, Trump said that he insists on stopping Turkey's purchases of Russian oil.
