OREANDA-NEWS. June 02, 2016. When the floor-stomping, party-throwing, trash-piling people who used Airbnb to rent the place near yours get too obnoxious to handle, you now have an outlet for complaint beyond angry rants on Twitter and Facebook.

You can tell Airbnb directly.

A new section of the site welcomes permanent inhabitants to tattle on temporary neighbors, without sharing their own name if they fear retribution or awkward hallway conversation when the host returns (but you can provide contact info if you'd prefer). Airbnb will contact hosts to let them know there's a problem.

A drop-down menu on the site gives you four themes, like noise and fear of your safety. From there, you can enter your info (so Airbnb knows who you are) and begin expressing your displeasure.

"Hosting is a big responsibility," said Airbnb in a blog post, "and those who repeatedly fail to meet our standards and expectations will be subject to suspension or removal from the Airbnb community."
