OREANDA-NEWS. Since June, Turkey will oblige all foreigners and citizens of the country who return from abroad to take tests for the coronavirus of the new type at airports.

This was reported by the portal Airport Haber with reference to the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the country, Mehmet Ersoy. “First of all, the rule will apply to the airports of the main tourist provinces, including Antalya, as the country is preparing for the gradual resumption of tourism. The country’s Ministry of Health will create special laboratories to test passengers at airports,” the politician explained.

According to Ersoy, the tourists will be tested for COVID-19 before passing through passport control. Passing tests will take no more than two or three minutes to avoid congestion of passengers. Test results will be known in five or six hours. If coronavirus is found, a tourist will be isolated in a hotel room.
