OREANDA-NEWS Korean automaker Hyundai has registered four trademarks in Russia, RIA Novosti found out after examining the electronic database of Rospatent.

According to the documents, the company has filed four applications for trademark registration with the logos of Genesis and Hyundai in 2024 and 2025. In July 2026, Rospatent made a positive decision on their registration.

Now the company can engage in car repair and maintenance in Russia, the sale of fuel pumps, the provision of digital services, as well as the preparation of food and beverages.

At the end of 2023, the South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor announced its decision to sell an automobile plant in St. Petersburg to the Russian Art Finance LLC, the parent company of AGR LLC. The deal was closed in early 2024, while Hyundai stated that it would retain the possibility of buying out the plant within two years after the sale.
